Shes been there and back , back and there. She carries the world on her shoulder. Shes gone through all the crying nights, and keeps her fists up to fight through disappointments. She keeps a lazer gun in the compartment on her waiste, shooting her friends with white lies saying things like "I'm fine" & "heartbroken? no not I." Her heart is guarded with a wall of bricks, to keep away slick men and all their tricks.
She wears a mask on her face to erase any trace of her insecurties and flaws, trying to avoid those who want to gnaw at the slight self-esteem that she has left. She flys in the sky with her prying eyes, to look for that guy who stole her confidence. She wears an "S" on her chest to represent all the stab wounds that remain on her heart, from those "friends" who were never there for her from the start.
She stays in a cave made of stone, which is actually her room at home. Plugging in her earphones that play music and tones, to block out thoughts of being alone. She thinks of ways to defeat her arch-enemy, which is only those memories of how things used to be. She treats everyone as if they were kryptonite, coming to destroy her and take her life. She cleans up the mess which is herself, using her cape to make the tears fade away, cause in the end she still has to save the day. - By: Rhonda Sherese Ekwunoh
